Privacy Policy

1. Who we are

Fylix is developed and published by Acorn Studio, based in South Africa. This privacy policy covers the Fylix iOS and watchOS applications (collectively "the App").

2. Data we collect

We collect no personal data. The App does not require an account, does not connect to any server, and does not transmit any information over the internet.

The only data the App handles is the schedule content you create — presentation names, section names, and durations. This data:

• Is stored exclusively on your iPhone and Apple Watch using the device's local storage (UserDefaults).
• Is transferred between your iPhone and Apple Watch using Apple's WatchConnectivity framework — a direct, encrypted, peer-to-peer connection between your own devices.
• Never leaves your personal devices.
• Is never transmitted to Acorn Studio or any third party.

3. Data we do not collect

We do not collect, store, or have access to any of the following:

• Your name, email address, or any other identifying information
• Usage analytics or crash reports
• Device identifiers (IDFA, IDFV, or similar)
• Location data
• Health or biometric data
• The content of your schedules
• How often you use the App

4. Third-party services

Fylix uses no third-party SDKs, analytics services, advertising networks, or external APIs. The App is built entirely on Apple's first-party frameworks. No data is shared with any third party.

5. Apple frameworks used

The App uses the following Apple-provided frameworks which are subject to Apple's own privacy policies:

• WatchConnectivity — for direct iPhone ↔ Apple Watch communication
• UserDefaults — for local on-device storage
• AVAudioEngine — for optional audio checkpoints (no audio is recorded)
• WatchKit — for haptic feedback on Apple Watch

6. Children's privacy

Fylix does not knowingly collect any information from anyone, including children under the age of 13. As the App collects no data at all, it is safe for users of all ages.

7. Changes to this policy

If we ever change this privacy policy, we will update the "Last updated" date at the top of this page. Given that we collect no data, material changes are unlikely.
